Here is an inn where the phrase \"attention to detail\" is apparent at every turn—from the polished brass knocker, to the elegant furnishings and the marble baths. Even breakfast is a step above the norm. Guests here indulge in fresh squeezed orange juice, cappuccinos and out of the ordinary baked goods such as the nectarine and blueberry clafouti recently featured in Gourmet . The inn was fully refurbished in 1997. Now guests can enjoy amenities such as data ports and voicemail while staying in this 1838 former whaling captain's home. Bottom line-there are other owner occupied B &B's with a personal touch on this beautiful island that have a vested interest to make your stay memorable. more on TripAdvisor

The TV in our room was also not working, My traveling partner had stayed at the Pinapple Inn a number of years ago for business on Nantucket and had a wonderful stay. more on TripAdvisor
