Romantic Getaway!

Stayed at the Auberge Gladstone during this past weekend to celebrate our 2 year wedding anniversary. We loved it! We stayed in the loft, 3rd floor, private bath with clawfoot tub, seperate shower stall with stone bench! Contemparary furniture throughout the room! Comfort and convenience

This B&B is located in the center of Plymouth's historic landmakrs and attractions(Plymouth Rock and the water front, Mayflower II etc) and it is very convenient to visit those historic landmarks. Dilapidated Dump.

Upon driving up to the ramshackle house, we were appalled. The spartan website flatters it! The shingle siding was terribly worn and dirty, the roof contained an enormous black smudge and some of the window panes were broken--including those in the front door. We had extremely low expectations given the bargain room rates at the Auberge Gladstone but were absolutely thrilled with the cleanliness, privacy, and decor of the rooms. This was a small guest house with many of the amenities I would expect at a fancy hotel. Comfortable bed, monogrammed robes, fridge provided.
