We love this place. The Shepherds are wonderful, friendly people who are more than happy to recommend a great place to eat or a fun way to spend a day.

We usually stay in the carriage house and the rooms are nicely decorated with comfortable beds.

Toby's cookies are great!

We stayed here after a whale watching trip from Gloucester and it proved to be a good choice. Rockport is a pleasant place within easy striking distance of Gloucester which was exactly what we wanted after an afternoon at sea. Better than I anticipated...

This was a trip to visit my son, who lives in the Gloucester area. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The house was inviting and comfortable (the sun porch is terrific!), and the rooms were well furnished and quite cozy.
