Much nicer than staying in a hotel chain and very reasonably priced-the owner could not have been nicer. more on TripAdvisor

The house itself was built, yes in 1888, for a Lawyer and is a classic New England property of the era. more on TripAdvisor

Moodie street also offers a great range of restaurants-must be one of the best in the area but I don't know for sure. more on TripAdvisor

It's not downtown Boston but the price is excellent, the rooms are clean with lots of Victoriana from the Landlady's family who are local to Waltham. more on TripAdvisor
