I stayed in this motel las week and it was ok. i hve read the reviews from here and then decided to go for it. it is highly priced for the amenities they give. Over priced
We've stayed here several times and have been dissapointed each time. While the lobby, lounge, and grounds are inviting, the rooms are quite shabby. It is a Dump!
I read the reviews on this website, and they were all bogus. The rooms were tacky and in desperate need of renovation. The windows would not lock; the air conditioner blared so loudly and smelled so musty that I am still wheezing, and my back still aches from the "bed". I must admit, after seeing the previous reviewer moan that the 1896 Inn was "a dump," we were more than a little hesitant to make a reservation.
