The lesson I learned is when in Mexico City, don't try to skimp of a few bucks on hotel and go for internationally recognized names--and avoid Centro Historico. more on TripAdvisor

The reception staff were very helpful in organizing daily tours they work with one tour company, so if you are in the city like I was for only a couple of days this was fine. more on Agoda.com

Like: the location is the best. It's right next to El Zocalo, which is a great meeting place for large groups. The service was also decent. They didn't try to rip us off or anything like that.
