Battle Creek's version of the "No Tell" motel
This place is filthy, not dirty-filthy! It is mentioned on many sites as being recently renovated-don't believe it. It may have been painted 4 years ago but it hasn't been cleaned since. Nasty, Nasty, Nasty
Good price, good location..other than that...do not stay there!!!!! It is dirty, smelly and rundown!!!! When we turned the bed down, the pillow was stained as if it had not been washed from some other previous occupant....no blankets on bed...just a dirty looking bed spread.....I ended up request... krisr, a user of Tripadvisor. aloof place right on the main street
After reading some of the other reviews for this place, I was a little disappointed. But since there were no hotels available for that weekend, I went ahead with the reservation. Poor Description
I was sold on the Guesthouse International Hotel when I read their description on Expedia and Orbitz. They decribe their hotel as "totally renovated in 2002". This is not the case. Our room was ok at best. There were some new furnishings but the carpet, bed spreads, shower (only a stand up), A/C,... A TripAdvisor Member, a user of Tripadvisor. Read full review on TripAdvisor
