What happened to service?

I've stayed here a number of times over the past few years. The first visit was "just OK" for me. The first visit left me wondering if I'd ever want to stay there again it was so bad (I was pretty sure I wrote a pretty bad review, but I don't seem to see it anywhere here...). Without a doubt the NICEST hotel
This is such a wonderful hotel. The service was fantastic, the staff was friendly, used my name all the time. It is in a great suburb of Detroit, about 20 minutes away.
