I should have kept driving

This was a bad experience. I was driving all day and tired and was close to where I needed to be for the next day and took the first name brand hotel I saw. Big mistake. Appearances are deceiving

There is a nice pool in the front, a new facade for the rooms facing Michigan Ave.
I ended up with a jacuzzi room way in the back of the complex, that resembled a Motel 6.
Peeling wallpaper exposing moldy concrete peppered my room.
