Wait Until the Renovations are Over
Everything the previous poster said is true. The hotel is under renovation and there is a sign stating that as soon as you get into the lobby. Taking that into consideration, some things could've been better. Despite the amenities, the immediate hotel staff was very nice and helpful in giving dir... ksyrah, a user of Tripadvisor. Not great...other than location
Service was less than interested. Food at River Cafe was sub par. Daily breakfast buffet was $17 per adult while the service was almost non-existent. fanastic location
THe location is on the river, close to Greektown, Cobo Center, and the athletic fields. People Mover is right there so you can get around the downtown. nov 3-07 was great
Our stay was great! not complaints. Our room was in tower 400 on the 51 floor and had a great room, but a small bathroom. No construction, noise or complaints. This place is huge lots to see and do, they even have a movie theater!. The food court has over 15 different small places to eat and good... all4thesun, a user of Tripadvisor.
