Buil in 1917, the Milner Hotel is the oldest continually running hotel in Detroit, and does exceptionally well at preserving some of the city's 20th-century-Golden-America atmosphere. The stately building is centrally located near some of Detroit's most prominent attractions, and has maintained a standard of affordable lodging.

The hotel is an affordable room in a great location (near the ballparks and many of the laid back bars /restaraunts) and the staff is very friendly. more on Expedia

The Milner is an older style hotel which made you feel more like you were staying in someone's house instead of a hotel. more on Orbitz

The view was fabulous looking out the window I could see Comerica Park with the stands full of fans and Ford field. more on TravelPost.com

Luckily we "found" this treasure so often overlooked - just around the corner from Ford Field, Co-America Park, Gem Theatre and the Fox Theatre in downtown Detroit. Built in 1917 as the Henry Clay ... more on TripAdvisor

Friendly service, the bathroom toilet seat was not clean which was disturbing, otherwise not bad. more on Expedia

This hotel is centrally located and very close to the new ballparks. It is not fancy by any measure, but it is clean, comfortable and well-run. There are useful businesses such as restaurants and drug stores nearby, and it is only ... more on Expedia

Hotel staff were very friendly. We were there to attend a Tiger baseball game. The receptionist had pulled a key for a room and then pulled another. Originally, we would have faced downtown. The second room was on the top floor and ... more on Expedia

Is it a fancy place? No. If you're planning on sitting in your room all weekend than this isn't the place to go. It served its purpose very well for an excellent price and it's right downtown in the middle of everything. The building ... more on Expedia
