I stayed at this hotel for my Daughter's Soccer tourney. Well Lets start off by saying the best part of my whole stay was my daughter's team won the championship!! Now the Hotel... Waterpark: It was fun for kids but it was nothing special! Food: Food was the best park of the whole hotel. I recomend eating at the snack bar if you do go! 1.0: Nightmare on Elm Street

After seeing that there have been some positive reviews of the Grand Rios, I only wish I could have been one of those people. :) My experience during the past week was a nightmare - like a nightmare on Elm Street. The actual hotel is nothing like what you see on the website. The front desk staff were friendly enough. I did learn quickly that I could not count on them for any assistance. When I asked the front desk attendant about their shuttle (advertised on the website) he whispered to the woman next to him - which I assume was the manager. She shook her head, then he told me there was no shuttle for the remainder of the day (I checked in at 5:00). He did say that he could ... happypersontoday, a user of Tripadvisor.
