4.0: Comfortable and Convenient

Our family (including 2 young children) stayed at the Shoreline the last 4 years for 3-4 nights per visit. We were there in July/August when the weather is great and even during this "busy" season the hotel and the city were very laid-back and relaxing. We find the hotel comfortable and very conv... We found the Shoreline on our first trip to Grand Marais in 1990. There's no pool, no fitness center, no in-room spa -- but in nearly annual trips since then, we have never considered staying anywhere else.
