Dislike: Grease stained bathtowels, showerhead that came only up to my chestplate, lack of control on the air conditioner, smell of smoke and "old-lady" scent in the room & overall bathroom size of a Geo Metro. American Inn = Nasty

This place is absolutely awful, don't even think about staying here. Its ver dirty, the rooms stink. There were drug dealers and prostitutes staying here ( I heard them talking about it outside my room). The power went out so I had to leave and saty in another motel. just an old Best Western

I was in St. Louis Park, MN on business and it was the only place within walking distance.

not so good

Compared to some of the other reviews here, we feel lucky that it was not worse. Our daughter booked the room for us, based on proximity to her apartment in Uptown.
