We took our best friends from Wisconsin to the coast. We stayed at the Edgwater Inn. I booked this hotel based on reviews I had read and the fair rates. I played this course as a youngster thru my early teens. With it's unusally wide fairways lined by oaks and tall slender matured pine trees it is a true thinking golfer's course. My husband is in the military and was stationed in Mississippi for 6 months before deploying for Iraq. I went to visit him there and we stayed here. It was a wonderful place.
