Not the same!
While I know Katrina was a terrible setback for this casino, they are not stepping up like the others in the area. The greeting by the security people is warm and friendly, but everything else there is not. It is difficult to enjoy this casino in its present state. They have come ons to swipe you... The Grand name says it all!!!
My boyfriend and I have gone to this hotel and casino for 4 years now. I have never had a bad experience there. The Market Place Buffet is always very nice and tasteful.
We also enjoy the Italian Resturant.
