Great Place to stay!

My husband and I were on a driving vacation. We originally were only going to stay one night in Vicksburg. We ended up staying two nights, because we were so comfortable at the hotel. Bypass the Battlefield Inn
I recently (against my better judgment) at the Battlefield Inn in Vicksburg, MS. I had been driving all day so after looking at and turning down several rooms I finally took the least of the evils. Great Breakfast
This is a grat stopping place us on our trips beteen Atlanta and Dallas. We travel at least 5 times durring the year and always stay at the Battlefield Inn.
Everyone is so helpful. They also have a coin washer and dryer which came in handy for us on one of our trips.

Faded Charm" says it all
A previous reviewer used the title "Faded Charm." That sums up the Battlefield Inn perfectly. The rooms are clean enough, but a really major overhaul is needed. It has the charm of the 1960s roadside motels. The breakfast buffet is satisfactory, but I wouldn't advise eating an evening meal there.... brad120, a user of Tripadvisor. We stayed here for our 22nd anniversary and loved it. When we checked in, we got tokens for 2 free breakfast buffets for each morning and for 2 free drinks apiece during cocktail time each evening.
