5.0: Unexpected Delight

My family of 5 was heading to the St. Louis area for a wedding. We would be there the same time as a friend in another state. We really wanted to stay in the same place as our friend, to have extra time when we could steal it. My friend booked first, and decided on the Pear Tree Inn, a Drury family hotel in Fenton. When I think Drury, I think of an inexpensive, bare bones hotel. I have always been pleased with my Drury stays, but they were always just basic. So, I didn't set the bar of my expectations too high.
