Just returned from a Girls' Weekend at The Hotel Savoy. The room was fabulous, but it felt like we were the only guests in the hotel. It's supposedly being remodeled, and definitely needs TLC. Not your ordinary hotel

We stayed for 2 nights last week and were thoroughly impressed. Be warned that the hotel is being renovated. Things may not sparkle the way they do in the chain hotels, but the charm and history of this building, along with the dedication of the staff make up for any visual shortcomings.
