We arrived at the Hidden Moose after a 9 hour drive to find that the $168 per night suite had filty carpet and a musty/animal smell. When we addressed this with the person running the lodge, her reply was "Oh -- isn't that carpeting just disgusting?" Well -- yes, actually - it was. And we expe... Our initial reaction to the Hidden Moose was, oh what a cute place! It's very charming with nicely tended gardens.
