For our first trip to Big Mtn, and also Montana, Ptarmigan Village worked out to be the best of all worlds. Best Value for the Price

We stayed at Ptarmigan Village for a total of 3 weeks in July/August. We are a family of 5. Our first 2 weeks were spent in a 3 bedroom loft unit - the unit had a spiral staircase up to a loft bedroom with 2 double beds and a spiral staircase down to 2 additional bedrooms (each with a queen bed) and a 2nd full bath. On the main floor was the eat in kitchen, family room with fireplace, full bath and a private deck with gas grill (which we actually used). The kitchen/baths could have used a remodel/update, ...
