Wonderful Memories
We like the lodge mainly because of its proximity to the marina. We also have a sentimental attachment to the lodge as we have been staying there since the mid-70's - when it was really the only option if you were coming to Lake Mead for a boating vacation. we are short of people
the last time i visited this lodge, the outside trash was never picked up during my 4 day stay. at night, you would see the rats/mice running in and out of the trash can area which are located along the hallways next to the doors. i went to the front desk to complain about this trash situation an... I agree, STAY AWAY
Just returned, The place scared me! The lodge was run down and had very little security. Simple easily defeated locks on the doors without safety chains were complimented by community college dorm room styling. No phones in the rooms also highlighted the safe environment. Great View, Relaxing Environment
We stayed there Mar 19, 2004, Friday for one night. No complaints here. Happened to check in right at 2:00p.m. and room was all ready. Ice Cold Air Condition, Cable TV. The lake/mountain views from the rooms is amazing. Location is very convienent to all kinds of sites (Hoover Dam, hiking, boating, Boulder City, even Vegas isn't too far).
