Great escape...

This small, old fashioned hotel and casino is one of my favorite escapes from Los Angeles. I have stayed here many times and on my most recent visit - splurged for the spa suite. No more landing at the Nevada Landing

A sign is still lit up on the other side of Interstate 15, thanking Nevada for 14 years of good service. That sign, and the standing structure is all that remains of the Nevada Landing. Cool Place

A good place to stay if all the economy rooms are filled near the strip. We picked up a car at the airport and easily reached it on the highway then headed off to Palm Springs in the AM.
