Class Act on the Colorado River
I greatly enjoyed my stay at The Golden Nugget in Laughlin. This was my second trip to Laughlin, and I enjoyed my stay much more than I had at the cheap and generic River Palms casino. First off the GN has a covered parking structure that is easy to get in and out of, it is easy to find a decent parking spot close to the elevator, and the elevator takes you directly from the parking garage to the inside of the casino. From there it is a very short walk to the registration desk, and from the registration desk it is a very short walk to the room elevator. Fast, easy, convenient, you know, the way it should be. The Golden Nugget is a relatively small hotel/casino, which I think improves the quality of customer service. Checking in took about 5 minutes on a busy Friday afternoon. Check out took about 3 minutes on Sunday morning. The room quality was excellent. Our room and bathroom were very clean. Our non-smoking room did not smell like smoke at all. The ...
