Now known as the Tropicana Express, this Laughlin, Nevada hotel boasts recently renovated rooms with 300 thread-count linens, flat-screen TVs, and bathrooms with granite accents. While guests 21 and over will probably be spending a fair amount of time on the casino floor, families and speed demons will love the ease with which they can rent a speedy jet ski from guys at Xtreme Watercraft Rentals, who operate right in the Tropicana.

The rooms are beautiful, except the towles that were left hanging behind the bathroom door from the prior guest-ick-the pool was great-very clean-the hotel is EXTREMELY smoky smelling-and not much for kids-fast food would be great. more on Travelocity.com
