Look beyond your first impressions

I tried really hard NOT to like the Carson Valley Inn, but by the time I left, they'd won me over. I was booked into the hotel attached to the casino (NOT the motor lodge, which is part of the same property) when I went for a job interview at a nearby company. Make no mistake; it's pretty humble. We stayed at the Motor Inn Sept. 3. Don't confuse the Motor Inn with the casino hotel. Trip Advisor should probably split the two.
