I've been going to Reno at least once per year for the last 15 years and most of the time, I stay at the Sands. The Sands has always been the best value around with big rooms costing about $40 less than some of the bigger hotels. Economy Casino, Okay for Couple Nights Stay
We spent one night at the Sands Regency Reno, Nevada due to last minute golf trip with my buddy. Trying to book a Saturday arrival in Reno at this time was difficult if you do not want to pay a premium price. So Saturday night we spent at Econo Lodge and Sunday night we spent at the Sands Regency. The Sands Regency is at outer West end of downtown Reno.
