My husband and I got married in South Lake Tahoe back in June. We chose this hotel for our parties to stay at since it's conveniently close to where our wedding ceremony and reception were held. Very nice hotel

The room was very nice, It had a great view. Things were clean and the staff friendly and attentive.It is very close to the ski tram a Heavenly and all the stores and shops. Disappointed

Stayed at the Horizon a year ago. Rooms were descent but I had money stolen from my room. The Horizon does not provide in-room safes so when I returned from skiing, money was taken out of my coat pocket. Come to find out the friends we went with also had money stolen from their room. Smoky & A Tad Run Down - Excellent Restaurant with Sunset Views

The rooms in the older, shorter tower were renovated in 2006 and have rich, jewel toned, sumptous decor. The older tower rooms are smaller & the views are less expansive than in the newer tower, however, the decor in the rooms of the new tower is tired & dated.
