Don't miss this hotel!!
Be sure to stay in the original part of the hotel. I believe this is the oldest hotel in Nevada, and if you stay in the original section, there are supposedly ghosts who sometimes drop by (though we didn't meet any on our trip). Chowing down at NV's oldest hotel

The Gold Hill Hotel has been around since 1859 and the joint is rumored to be haunted. It stands on the Yellow Jacket Mine site which did have a famous accident in which a candle ignited a mine fire that killed a few dozen miners and burned for about a decade.
