I love Waterville Valley and the Golden Eagle. We thought we wanted to go further North to Loon / Lincoln or Bretton Woods / Mt Washington, or even to North COnway, but it's just a two hour drive, the last 20 minutes is beuatiful ... more on Yahoo! Travel

The Golden Eagle Lodge is a beautiful lodge located in a great resort village. It lacks a restaurant, but it is across a foot bridge to the Village Square with several nice restaurants with reasonable prices.
