Family vacations that are spent in Hampton, New Hampshire are always full of fun and adventure because the city offers numerous tourist attractions. But to fully enjoy the city, the family is encouraged to stay in Hampton family hotels that are located on or near the Hampton Beach. From the beach, the family can spontaneously decide whether they want to sail on a boat or play with the sand.
Inland from the beach, the family can also find other kid friendly tourist destinations. One is the Fuller Gardens, an estate garden that started at the turn of the century and now displays more than 1,700 varieties of rose bushes, perennials and other plants. Another destination is the Seacoast Science Center, which is located in the Odiorne Point state Park. It has an indoor touch tank that will allow kids to get as close as possible to the tide pool animals. And still another destination is the Strawberry Banke Museum, which was inspired by the thousands of wild berries that grow on the banks of the Piscataqua River. While it is great to have family vacations in Hampton at any time of the year, the most enjoyable season is still the summer. During the summer, there will be about 80 free evening concerts as well as weekly fireworks display.
