Wentworth by the Sea is one of New Hampshire's most beloved old hotels. Famously, it was the sight of the peace talks that ended the Russo-Japanese War in 1905. It is incredibly large and stately, and provides much in the way of charm and elegance. It sits on top of a bluff overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, and is a favorite destination for couples. If staying here isn't an option, you might consider dining in one of the two restaurants on sight. Be sure to bring you're camera as you'll want to take some keepsakes home of the spectacular view, grounds, and the hotel itself.
