What you see is not always what you get...

If you look at their website what you will see is a lovely inn, with flowers everywhere. The owners boast "Recent renovations make your stay even more quaint and cozy than ever. With only 14 guest rooms, you are assured personal attention and a restful stay. We promise sparkling clean rooms and a warm, friendly welcome for all guests." Well the flowers are non-existent and have been replaced by what was a planter outside our room, which now holds cigarette butts and hasn't been emptied in a looooong time! Never Again!!!!!!!

My husband and I stayed at the Inn (if you could even call it that) last weekend for a wedding. We were so looking forward to staying there based on the pictures and descriptions on the website that we even sent the site along to other wedding guests. We were greeted with barely a smile as we checked in, and so much for "recently renovated".....The mattresses were not at all comfortable and they looked quite dated. 4 star room without paying for resort amenities. Great value.

After a nightmare stay in a nearby Comfort Inn in Portsmouth, we were willing to pay any price to find room that didn't make us feel like we were sleeping in someone's office.
