We stayed at the Valley Inn in Waterville Valley and had an absoutely wonderful time. Waterville Valley does have condos but it isn't cluttered with junk shops, Mcdonald's and traffic. We arrived 9 p.m. Friday evening and were told that they had stayed open especially for us - without exception everyone in the party wished they hadn't bothered.
