Stay Away!!

While the hotel itself is beautiful it is in the midst of a slum and a construction boom. It is difficult to get to the beach because of all the construction materials and debris lining the streets. I loved the Berkeley Hotel

I just got in from a long weekend on the shore . I stayed at the most beautiful hotel in Asbury Park. The Berkeley was the name of the hotel. When you walk in, the lobby looks great. I seriously recommend against staying at this place. The front desk staff was very obnoxious, although the security staff was worse. Impolite, uninformative, pushy, and insulting.
