4.0: Ocean View Hotel with lowkey "Old Miami" ambience

I had never visited Asbury Park, and the place is quickly changing from what I can see. There is a ton of construction of new waterfront condos and renovations to the boardwalk and many of the historic buildings including the Casino and Dance Halls. I kept looking at the photos of this hotel and didn't notice any women in the photos of the pool parties, and then went to see their "official website" and after "reading between the lines" I discovered that this hotel is in the vernacular of Provincetown, San Francisco, and Key West... And upon arrival, I was correct. While I'm not sure of the persuasion of the owners of this hotel, they are indeed very very very "open minded". There is a gay ... WOLFreview, a user of Tripadvisor. 4.0: Gay Hotel Very Straight Friendly

I have stayed at the Empress Hotel 4 summers in a row. Asbury Park is the best kept secret on the Jersey Shore but the news is leaking out. Every year this place improves in every aspect.
