Located on the southernmost tip of the New Jersey peninsula, Cape May is an attractive, family oriented seaside town. Cape May draws an international audience—Travel Guides rate its beaches amongst America’s Top Ten, while citing Cape May as the best birding location on the east coast.
We recommend the quaint Gingerbread House as a family-friendly, yet luxurious Bed & Breakfast in Cape May. We enjoyed the “Luxury Suite,” their largest room holding two double beds and a private bath. Considering the amazing selection at breakfast, we found this B&B budget-friendly as well.
The Blue Fish Inn welcomes your kids and is a pet-friendly resort, too! We loved the comfort and convenience of a full kitchen in our spacious, well equipped room—there’s even complimentary beach chairs and umbrellas included, along with breakfast during the peak season. The owners were a jolly and helpful pair, making us feel welcome and appreciated.
Our dogs rated Billmae Cottage and Guest Suites four paws up. The cottage came equipped with a lovely, enclosed yard and bicycles for the kids! The dogs were welcome in the outside showers as well, and we all enjoyed the freshwater clean-up after our day at the beach! You’ll love the pillowcases in the suites—they’re decorated with dog-friendly patterns.
