4.0: La Mer was Great!

Just returned from Cape May and stayed 3 nights at the La Mer... loved it there! Now based on your opinion, you may like the location of the La Mer or not. It is a little farther from the busy part of town, but its definitely not to far to drive to or take a long walk to. The good thing is that you can sit out on your balcony and just look at the beach and not be bothered looking a shops and crowds of people across the street -- much quiter. ... traveler42891, a user of Tripadvisor. We had a great time at La Mer. We had an ocean front, large effeciency room. It was spacious, comfortable and immaculate. I have stayed in other hotels along the beach and La Mer definitely is better than most. Hotel employees are friendly and quick to accomodate. The restaurant is fabulous. ...
