I did not have high expectations of a Holiday Inn right on a busy highway. However, this hotel exceeded my expectations in every way. It was fresh and spotless, every employee we encountered was exceedingly kind and professional, the continental breakfast was a bargain by NY standards (around $7)... The Holiday Inn at Fort Lee, NJ, was reasonably priced, convenient location with easy access to the highway and Manhattan, the food in the on-site restaurant was fresh and well-prepared and reasonably priced. We stayed here 5 days when visiting NYC and relatives in New Jersey with a rented car. It is an ideal hotel when you are doing exactly this. If you are visiting Manhattan only, I would not advise to stay here. Travelling from Fort Lee into town requires: time, a good set of nerves, 6 Dollars toll... yarmouth66, a user of Tripadvisor.
