Travelers looking for a romantic getaway will love the Summer Nites Bed and Breakfast which has a very unique 50’s theme! Owners, Sheila and Rick Brown, have decorated this 1900’s home to take travelers back to the early days of rock and roll. There is a box car diner, a jukebox from 1953 and black and white checkerboard tiles. Check out the Elvis Room where the king’s face can been viewed, or the peace love and happiness of the 60’s suite, or the Marilyn Room. You will be transported to another place in time and sure to forget the stresses of today.
The fun never stops at the Lollipop Motel, a Doo Wop landmark. You can’t miss it with the candy colored doors on the rooms! Originally built in the 60’s, they have become part of a revival team trying to bring back the magic of an era. There is a pool, with a diving board of course. They are famous for the surrounding beaches that are said to be very clean and safe too. And you’ll be minutes from the Wildwood Boardwalk which reportedly has more rides than Disneyland. It is the perfect place for a romantic getaway and great way to remember what it’s like to be a kid again.
