Clean is good but...
The Wilshire Grand is a pleasant place to stay despite mechanical problems with the rooms. They keep the place spotless and it is in a pleasant setting. The staff is very friendly, complimentary breakfast, decent but low on protein. My first problems were tepid water in the shower and with the AC... traveler, a user of Expedia.com. I was not expecting much when I checked into this hotel--from the street it doesn't look any different than any other hotel--but once inside, I was pleasantly surprized. Impeccable service, beautiful rooms and lots of amenities!
We recently had about 80 guests stay at the wilshire grand for a wedding. The service was truly impeccable and they were flawless on the execution of our rehearsal dinner which we had at the hotel. Horrible! The rooms are so tiny and there is no coffee maker. I was moved three times because the first two rooms smelled like mold and the second room had active mold growing from a broken sprinkler head in the ceiling. It was terrible-don't waste your money!
