Couldn't wait to go home!

The only thing we liked about the Bal Harbour was the pool. That area was very nice. It was clean and had a great view and access to the beach. Our room was very large but badly needs remodeling. Beach Blast review
Just got back from Bal Harbour today, about 50 or more people went down there for the annual Beach Blast Soccer tournamentand we all stayed at this hotel. Weather was great, hotel was good. smelly
we stayed in a two room accomondation with connecting rooms, the one room was alot smaller and did not have a window that opened! the window was screwed shut! the room smelled so bad, cig. smoke, we had to go out and buy a room deodorizer! if that wasnt bad enough, it was quite warm in the room ,... OK place if you can get a good deal
The Bal Harbour overall is not that bad of a place. It is an older hotel but they seem to keep up on it pretty well.. This is not a 4 star hotel, so if you are looking for outstanding service and pampering this is not the place for you. Dissapointed
At this price ($246. per night) I expect to be at least informed that basic amenities such as a luggage rack,hair dryer, iron and even a clock in the room will not be provided.
