The Holiday Inn Express in Socorro, NM is a very acceptable place to spend a night, on a road trip for example. The room was clean, price was decent, although I got charged $10 more than I thought I would, and there is very little noise. The bedding could be a little nicer. The hotel is locate... Absolutely fine
Believe me, I like nice hotels, but in Socorro, there are not any high end options. Given that this was an outdoors trip with lots of hiking, that was absolutely fine. Best motel in all of Socorro. This was our first experience with a Holiday Inn Express and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Great sweet rolls with the Continental breakfast in the morning. Lots of choices. I stayed here overnight in the annex portion, which looked practically new. Had to walk a short distance to the main building for breakfast.
