However, when we arrived, we found that even though we had contacted the motel in advance regarding accessibility of the cabins, and amenities available, the rooms were not as described over the phone. more on TripAdvisor

Oh, and I don't think any other reviewers mentioned that this motel is right on the side of a highway. more on TripAdvisor

Even if you use the free canoes, it will be hard to find a swimming spot, as the whole lakefront is private property. more on TripAdvisor

Look at the very honest website first. It is everything I expected but it is NOT the Holiday Inn. The rooms are decorated in old furniture but have all the amenities that one would need and are clean. ... more on TripAdvisor
