The Hotel was built in the “Saratoga-style” in 1881 and restored in 1984. It is the center of traditions and style at Chautauqua . Many famous people and presidents have stayed at the Hotel, including Bill Clinton . Worth it

We stayed here in July 2003 for the fourth time. The nicest thing about the hotel is the service. Everyone from the check-in staff to the waiters to the valet just bent over backwards to be courteous and helpful. Really special. A Big Dissapointment

Never before have I paid so much for so little. In my opinion, this is one historic hotel that is simply not worth the time or money -- especially for families traveling with small children.
