If you are looking for a brand new cookie-cut hotel, the Athenaeum, let alone Chautauqua Institution is not for you. more on TripAdvisor

Not what we expected. An old hotel in decline. Seems to cater to an older set. Rooms are spartan with uncomfortable furniture and small, tight bathrooms. Definitely not a five star hotel, possible three. However, priced like five. ... more on TravelPost.com
