Stopped by spur of the moment and had the best experiance one could ask for.
While driving along Seneca Lake on our way back to Philadelphia, we had planned on making it south of Watkins Glen. As we passed by the Glenora Winery, we decided to look for a nearby restaurant. Pleasant, convenient, quiet
Visited for two days in July, Glenora has everything necessary for a quiet retreat. The Inn is easily accessed and handy for visits to all points of interest at Seneca and Keuka Lakes. I stayed at the Inn over the weekend to attend a friends wedding that was taking place there. We booked a room with 2 queen beds. The room was big and clean and had a fabulous deck- the views are absolutely stunning. We checked in around midnight (a 7 hour drive from Boston) so we couldn't enjoy ... A taste of the finger lakes wine region
The views are perfect with every room looking onto the lake. The rooms are large with all usual facilities. The small balcony lets you sit and relax whilst enjoying the beauty of the region. it is in a reasonable location although a car is an essential.
