Absolute Greatest Hotel Ever

Stayed here over a weekend in early May. Cannot remember ever being this happy / content with a hotel. This hotel is straight out of 50s/60s Americana and is pretty much unchanged from how you would have found it at that time. If you’re looking for luxury and up to the minute fashion then you really ought to steer clear. However if you’re looking for something that might evoke the (hopefully positive) memories from vacations of your youth then look no further. Silver Sands is a Wonderful Place to Stay!

I've stayed at Silver Sands many times, both in the motel and in one of their cottages. I'm originally from Eastern Long Island, but I have no living relatives there now, so I can't crash at anyone's house when I go back to visit.
