We wouldn't stay here again

Overall, our experience at the Huntington Country Inn was less than desirable. After researching online for various hotels in the area, we made reservations mid-August to check in on Oct. 6, 2007 for a King Jacuzzi room so that we could attend a local wedding and not pay $400/night for the fancy wedding hotel. From the pictures on their web site and at $165 per night for two nights, it seemed like a nice place at a reasonable price. Several days before arriving, we called to ask if we could have an early check-in, as one of us was going to be flying overnight and needed time to rest on Saturday before going out. They said that they couldn't guarantee anything before check-in time, but they made a note in our file of the request. We're glad we called because we also found out that they booked us incorrectly: checking in on Oct. 5 and leaving Oct. 7, instead of Oct. 6 and 8th. Luckily (well, maybe not so luckily) for us, they still had a room available the night of the 7th. We called the hotel again on the morning of check-in ... vengavale, a user of Tripadvisor. Stay away
