Inconsistencies, housekeeping deficiencies mar stay in beautiful new Courtyard
I've waited to review this hotel because I wrote an email to the manager about a week ago, and wanted to give management a chance to respond and discuss their plans for improvement. Didn't happen, so here's what I'd written to them: " I've been trying to figure out how to rate this hotel and how to respond because there was much to like mixed with glaring deficiencies during our stay in this lovely hotel. It's clear that the management attitude is all about service and attention to guest's needs, but that didn't translate to routine housekeeping, in our experience. It was a very inconsistent experience. We were in room 423, and it was certainly designed to be luxurious and had a wonderfully comfortable bed. It took one second to notice that the entire suite was thickly coated with dust and had not been cleaned in quite some time. I don't mean some surfaces were dusty, it was EVERY surface, lamps, walls, tables, bulbs, I could write in the dust everywhere. When I saw the dust and the water rings from a previous guest's glass on the bedside night table, I immediately thought to check the bed because it was clear that nothing else was clean. The room ...
