Good location, but seems overpriced since converting to Crowne Plaza
We have stayed at the hotel 3 times: twice with Holiday Inn before and last time when it became Crowne Plaza. Absolutely NO difference with what it has been before (same rooms, same restaurant with the same tired selections), except the prices for the same types of rooms have doubled (especially ... winter_traveller95, a user of Tripadvisor. The hotel was in a state of renovation at the time I stayed, which was understandable. However, it's quite nauseating to try to eat while you can smell paint thinner! The hotel was being over run by children. They were everywhere and had little supervision. There was even gymnastics in the hall and banging on my door.
